MY RELAX ROUTINE

How are you all doing?

Today I want to share with you my RELAX ROUTINE or otherwise known as my pamper routine, which I usually do on Sundays or when I have a little bit more time to spend for myself.

My first step is to light a candle and make my room or house comfy and cozy, to clear my mind.

I love very sweet scents, especially vanilla and Christmassy ones.

Then I remove makeup and apply a face mask to clean it up and detox from smog and impurities.

I like to blend it with a flat brush because it makes me feel like I’m in a SPA relaxing my mind and body.

After I washed off the mask I like to apply a tonic and a face cream to keep my skin hydrated, smooth and soft.

Step four is a nice and cheeky hot bath, which I run even during summer (I am a weirdo, I know!!)

Together with my bath I like to sip a hot beverage (usually tea). I’m such a tea person and (of course) I really enjoy sweet tea, like vanilla ones, but I like so much spicy ones as well; actually in love with chai tea ! Yes, I know, what a cliché: hot bath with a hot drink ! 🙂

Another passage I do is to apply nail polish while listening to music and maybe, dance a little bit, (basically doing silly moves).

I love this bit where you just relax listening to music or reading a nice book, where you just evade from quotidianity and everyday problems, it’s absolutely the best thing ever!

SKIN ESSENTIALS BEACH EDITION SUMMER 2017

Hey lovelies,

today’s blog post is dedicated to skin protection during summer days at the beach, basically my essentials.

The main problem during summer is dehydration so I have here a selection of products that you can bring with you to the beach to prevent it and that I love so much. Of course is very important to drink water to keep your body and skin hydrated, it’s a must so, if you’re like me and you forget to drink very often, try and eat a lot of fruit like melons, watermelons, pineapple, grapes and coconut.

To start, it’s very important to protect your eyes… so the first item I shove in my beach bag is a pair of sunglasses, of course.

Afterwards I usually apply my Sun Care cream SPF 30 or, in this case SPF20, to protect my skin from the sun because I really enjoy long walks along the seaside and I don’t want to get a bad sunburn, so this cream is my bestfriend… literally !

Next step for me is to keep my lips and hair hydrated and protected from the heat, so I always bring with me argan oil (that I apply just on tips of my hair) and a valid lipbalm.

Once I am back home and I took a shower, I usually apply the last product: the after sun.

This is the best part ever as this gives my skin a very pleasent and fresh sensation and it makes it smooth and very soft.
